Season Three[]
Solid Snake and Otacon are having a conversation on their codecs when the frequency is jammed by Jim, who places Otacon under arrest for the crime of high treason. He says he will let Otacon go if Snake gives back the embarrassing pictures of him at the Christmas party. Snake rejects the offer and reveals that he has kidnapped Jim's teddy bear Mr. Snuggles. Jim tells Snake not to hurt him and Snake says he won't hurt Mr. Snuggles, as long as Jim follows his demands.
Jim reluctantly agrees to this and Snake demands that he wants an extra large pepperoni pizza delivered right to his door with extra Parmesan packets, that Jim sends a new clone of Meryl next month (despite him having 5 already), and that Jim releases Otacon. Jim agrees, saying that Snake hasn't seen the last of him and he wants Mr. Snuggles on his bed that evening.

He is has the personality of both an adult and a child. He takes his job and career seriously, but is still not above using his authority for selfish reasons. He still sleeps with a teddy bear.
